We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated School Business Manager to join our leadership team. This is a key strategic role, responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient management of the school’s financial, administrative, and operational functions.
You will work closely with the Headteacher and Governors to support the delivery of high-quality education by managing resources effectively and driving continuous improvement across all business operations.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead on financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
* Oversee HR processes, payroll, and staff recruitment administration.
* Manage premises and facilities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve best value.
* Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, school policies, and safeguarding standards.
* Support the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team in strategic planning and decision-making.
About You
* Proven experience in business management, ideally within an educational setting.
* Strong financial acumen and knowledge of school funding and financial regulations.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Qualifications:
* A relevant qualification in business management or finance (e.g., Level 4/5 School Business Manager Diploma) is desirable.
