We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Director to join our growing team. Based in London and working closely with our New York headquarters, the role is highly market-facing and requires building relationships with senior executives, developing a pipeline of opportunities, and driving revenue growth in Europe.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Develop and actively manage a pipeline of prospective clients across European-based companies spanning sectors and market capitalizations.
* Originate new business opportunities through existing networks, targeted outreach, and industry engagement.
* Build and maintain relationships with senior executives, including CEOs, CFOs, and Heads of Investor Relations.
* Contribute to pitch strategy, materials, and conversion of opportunities into mandates.
* Represent Rose & Company in the market, including conferences, roadshows, and industry events.
* Maintain visibility into pipeline activity, tracking progress and conversion across opportunities.
* Ensure a seamless transition of new clients to the client coverage team, including clear handoff of context, objectives, and expectations.
The qualified candidate must be self-motivated, have a proven ability to efficiently multi-task and have experience interfacing directly with senior executives. The candidate must also be articulate and possess strong communications skills to succeed in an important client-facing role.
Additional specific qualifications include:
* 8–10+ years of experience in a commercially oriented, client-facing role such as corporate broking, institutional equity sales, investment banking, or investor relations.
* Demonstrated ability to originate opportunities and build senior relationships across listed companies.
* Strong understanding of European capital markets and investor dynamics.
* Highly credible communicator with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
* Self-starter with a proactive, relationship-driven approach to business development.
* Strong judgment and professionalism in working with senior executives and representing the firm externally.
* Excellent organizational skills, including comfort owning process, timelines, and cross-team coordination to deliver client outcomes.
