Main duties of the job
As a valued team member you will:
* Answer the telephone, dealing with patient queries and booking patient appointments.
* Signpost patients to relevant services
* Process repeat prescriptions
* Process referrals, process incoming correspondence
* In addition to the normal Reception duties you will also provide administrative support to ensure the smooth and effective running of the Practice.
These roles require well presented individuals with a calm, methodical approach to work, the ability to deal empathically and professionally with the general public.
It would be desirable if you have had some experience working within a Primary or Secondary care environment. However full training will be provided and we would consider applicants with no primary care or secondary care experience.
This role will involve working 5 hours shifts between 8am-6pm Monday to Friday this is organised on a rota basis with one day off per week.

Our clinical team consists of one GP, Practice nurse and HCA.
As part of Rainham PCN we also have access to a Pharmacist, podiatrist, Diabetic nurse, mental health nurse, care co-ordinator and Social Prescriber.
