School run support – The PA would need to be at the individual's home address at 08:20 to support with walking the child to school for 08:40. The PA would need to be at the school for pick up at 15:20 and walk the child home. The time that the 4 hours social support is provided can be discussed at interview.
Role Overview
This opportunity is suited for someone who is responsible, reliable, patient, friendly, and respectful of others' privacy, dignity, values, and beliefs.
Tasks / Duties
* Access the community – going for walks, coffee, accessing shops in town.
* Getting into groups, getting out and about and low‑level support with school runs during term time.
Client Information
* Main diagnosis: Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) – non‑epileptic seizures and blackouts.
* Other conditions: Depression, Hypothyroidism.
* Communication: No issues.
* Moving and Handling: None.
* Pets: One dog (friendly).
* Smoker: No.
* Client enjoys: Crocheting and crafting.
Requirements
* Must have a car.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain privacy and respect of client values.
