Senior Structural Engineer\n\nLeeds\n\nSalary - £45,000 - £55,000 + Package \n\nOur client is a technical specialist working across all aspects of Civil and Structural Engineering within the built environment.\n\nTo meet their increasing workload and expanding client base they currently require a Senior Structural Engineer for their Leeds office.\n\nCandidates will need to be Chartered or Incorporated with the Institute of Structural Engineers or the Institution of Civil Engineers and looking to bring value to the business in return for further career progression.\n\nThe successful candidate will require to be well versed in computer analysis and design in all structural materials, innovative in approach, be able manage projects independently including attending meetings with contractors, architects and clients.\n\nThe successful candidate will be required to and co-ordinate the work of project engineers, graduates and technicians.\n\nRequirements \n\nChartered or Incorporated status.\nAbility to deliver projects through to completion, and work within a multidisciplinary team.\nGood communication skills.\nSoftware experience in TEDDS, Tekla Structural Designer, Fastrack Portal Frame, CADS Wall Panel, P Frame and MasterSeries Retaining Wall would be desirable.\nKey Roles and Responsibilities \n\nResponsible for working within a team of engineers and technicians in the delivery of civil and structural engineering projects.\nResponsible for co-ordinating delivery of structures, drainage and highways elements of projects.\nResponsible for the development and ongoing management of design delivery programmes.\nResponsible for the analysis and design of overall building structures using Design/Analysis software.\nResponsible for managing CAD/Revit technicians to ensure that an appropriate level of design information is included on production information.\nVisiting sites and attending site meetings.\nInvolvement in internal and project design meetings.\nAttend external design meetings with clients and other design team members.\nPrepare correspondence and reports.\nKnowledge\n\nMust hold a degree in Structural/Civil Engineering.\nMust hold a professional qualification i.e, MIStructE/MICE/AMIStructE/AMICE or equivalent.\nMust be IT literate with experience of structural design software packages.\nSkills and Abilities\n\nAbility to communicate in a clear and concise way with colleagues and clients.\nAbility to develop client relationships.\nMarketing and Networking.\nMust hold a valid driving licence.\nBenefits \n\nIn return you will joining a well-established company working on the forefront of construction.\n\nFlexible and hybrid working\nTax free bonus (subject to business performance)\nFree parking\nPrivate medical care\n25 days annual leave, increase with length of service\nAdditional leave at Christmas\nRegular team socials\nOffice fruit as part of wellbeing approach\nFree daily coffee van
