Hire service engineer

As a Hire & Maintenance Technician in Travis Perkins, you will play a vital role in supporting our business to meet and be compliant with all mechanical and electrical processes and procedures related to repairing and testing tools and equipment to the Travis Perkins Tool Hire standard.

What will I be doing?

• Ensure all tools and equipment are tested and safe for use and readily available for hire.
• Act as a pivotal contact for our network of branches, nurturing great relationships, understanding their needs and offering expert advice to recommend alternatives that maximize sales of hire tools and equipment.
• Adhere to and maintain compliance with all Tool Hire processes and procedures, including audits and inspections.

What experience do you need?

Previous experience within the Plant and Hire Industry or a good understanding of electrical, petrol and diesel equipment would be advantageous, but is not essential. We value transferable skills from any sector.
