The Packing Operator will support the compounding operation responsible for manufacturing aseptically compounded products, adhering to SOPs, GMP, GDP, and EHS standards to ensure high-quality products at all times. The role is scheduled Monday to Friday, from 06:00 to 14:00.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Pack products to a high standard and release them according to specific timeframes.
2. Perform routine quality checks on products as part of the compounding process.
3. Thoroughly check batch numbers and escalate any issues.
4. Follow standard operating procedures.
5. Cover for operators during sickness or annual leave.
6. Ensure products are patient-specific and meet high-quality standards consistently.
7. Perform and record cleaning of equipment and work areas as defined in SOPs.
8. Notify the Team Leader/Manager and Quality Assurance of any deviations from the process.
Skills and Requirements:
* Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a cross-functional team.
* Strong work ethic and flexibility to meet business needs.
* Ability to work independently and in a team.
* Previous packing experience is desirable but not essential.
* Familiarity with operating software.
* Excellent attention to detail, especially when checking batch numbers and measurements.
* English and Mathematics GCSE or equivalent.
