Reports To: Front Office Manager
Position Summary:
As a Bellman at Daxton Hotel, you are the first and last impression for our esteemed guests. You will provide a warm welcome, handle luggage, assist with transportation, and offer personalized service that reflects the exceptional standards of a luxury hotel. Your attention to detail, gracious hospitality, and professional demeanor will play a vital role in creating memorable guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure.
* Assist guests with luggage handling, delivery, and storage.
* Escort guests to their rooms, explain room features, and respond to immediate needs.
* Provide directions, hotel information, and recommendations for local attractions.
* Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lobby and bell stand area.
* Work closely with the front desk, concierge, valet, and housekeeping teams.
* Respond promptly to guest requests and follow through to ensure satisfaction.
* Uphold hotel security protocols, including monitoring and managing luggage storage.
* Demonstrate knowledge of hotel amenities, services, and emergency procedures.
Qualifications:
* Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Professional appearance and polished demeanor.
* Ability to lift and carry heavy luggage and stand for extended periods.
* Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible schedules (weekends, holidays).
* Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
* Knowledge of luxury service standards and etiquette.

Physical Requirements:
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
