In this role, you will convert prospects into loyal customers by effectively presenting Brakes' value proposition, addressing customer needs, and negotiating deals. Your expertise will help build and maintain strong, lasting relationships, ensuring you exceed sales and margin targets while utilizing Brakes' customer-first methodology.
Your Responsibilities:
* Research and prospect potential new business opportunities to maintain a healthy pipeline.
* Handle a mix of incoming leads and self-generated opportunities within specified SLAs.
* Build strong commercial relationships to understand customer needs and requirements.
* Develop profitable and relevant propositions to secure new business at the right margin.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Depots and Credit Control, to assist new customers.
* Analyze competitor activity to create tailored proposals that highlight Brakes' value proposition.
* Achieve period, quarter, and annual revenue and margin targets.
* Thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting demanding KPIs.
* Utilize Salesforce CRM to manage all activities, ensuring visibility and tracking of pipeline and conversions.
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience in a New Business role within a fast-moving B2B environment.
* A results-oriented mindset with a proven track record of delivering against targets.
* Outstanding active listening skills with the ability to engage and influence customers.
* Ability to work under pressure with a sense of urgency in a deadline-driven environment.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Experience with Salesforce and/or SAP is a plus!
