The department currently offers French, Spanish, and Mandarin through to GCSE, with A-level provision available for those wishing to continue their language studies further. We are seeking a French and/or Spanish specialist to support the department during a period of maternity cover. This role would suit either an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher, with excellent support available within the department to ensure success and professional growth. This role is offered on a full time or part time basis initially for the Summer term, with the possibility of extending. Are you someone who: Has excellent organisational skills. Keeping Children Safe in Education Our school will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding check, and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children. All aspects of social media and internet searches will be conducted. As care must be taken to avoid unconscious bias and any risk of discrimination, a person who will not on the appointment panel will conduct the searches and will only share information if and when findings are relevant and of concern.
