Your impact
Experienced Engineering lead with a proven track record of leading and directing a team of 10+ engineers through a complex electronic architecture leading to a product.
An ideal candidate would have experience of managing requirements, and through a product lifecycle. Would have a good understanding of computing and cyber security. Used to planning, tracking and monitoring against milestones.
As an Engineering lead you will take a high-level task and create individual work packages, allocate out, monitor and overcome issues to ensure delivery to quality, time and budget
The role would be onsite in Luton full time, with a need to be able to support travel to national customers on a periodic frequency
As an Engineering Lead you will coordinate the project technical development, manage the engineering team across all disciplines, drumbeat the overall engineering workflow, overseeing costs, schedules, and risks for successful project delivery.

Degree or similar in an Engineering subject
In the frame of the Line of Business Engineering Unit, manage the engineering team reporting to the head of System Engineering department, coordinating with the Program Manager of the assigned project.
Define and coordinate the entire project development cycle, from planning and design to final delivery.
Manage the engineering interface with customers and suppliers (in collaboration with the Program Manager and Industrial Manager) to ensure compliance with technical requirements and delivery deadlines.
Maintain the Engineering Plan in consistence with other project plans and constraints (such as the Development Plan, Verification Plan, and the like).
Plan and monitor resources, including budget, personnel, and tools necessary for project completion.
Manage technical risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of developed products.
Provide stakeholders, both internal and external, with reports on the progress of engineering activities.
Supervise activities related to analysis, design, development, and integration of the project, including the production of related documentation.
Manage and coordinate project meetings and reviews.
Lead the technical development and coordination of digital instruments, ensuring alignment with project plans, managing performance verification, and overseeing costs, schedules, and risks for successful project delivery.
