We are looking for enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teaching Assistants to join a team and work in a variety of friendly and supportive primary and/or secondary schools across theHertfordshireregion.
This flexible role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, values work-life balance, and wants to gain experience across different year groups and educational settings. Day-to-day, short-term and long-term assignments are available depending on your availability and interests. Beginning ASAP.
Duties as a Teaching Assistant:
* Provide classroom support under the direction of the class teacher
* Work with individuals or small groups to support learning and engagement
* Help prepare resources and create a positive learning environment
* Support pupils with additional needs, including SEND or EAL, as needed
* Assist with behaviour management and promote a safe, inclusive atmosphere
Ideal Teaching Assistant:
* Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting
* A flexible and proactive approach to classroom support
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as a Teaching Assistant.
* A calm, positive, and patient manner
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
* Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are desirable but not essential
