I prefer candidates with proven ability and experience in configuring Windows devices using SCCM and Intune. A strong understanding of request fulfillment processes is essential. I am looking for someone who can independently carry out assigned tasks with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate should excel at performing multiple tasks simultaneously without making errors. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for success in this role. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities are a must. The candidate should be capable of working independently as needed. Responsibilities: You will be responsible for configuring, testing, and troubleshooting laptops, desktops, thin clients, and mobile devices to ensure optimal performance. It will be your duty to monitor system performance, ensuring build images are up to date and correctly deployed. You will liaise with customers, vendors, and suppliers to resolve hardware and build image-related issues. Maintaining stock levels through weekly and monthly stock checks will be crucial to ensure availability and accuracy. You will manage the inventory of Configuration Items (CIs) and assets, ensuring proper tracking and documentation. Defining, enhancing, and implementing best practices for asset management will be part of your role, aimed at improving efficiency and accuracy. You will ensure the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) is effectively managed, with up-to-date and accurate asset records. Providing KPI/Metric reports on stock deployment and asset utilization is another key accountability. Managing the secure disposal of devices through approved third-party suppliers is essential to ensure compliance with security policies. You will adhere to all relevant IT security policies and procedures to safeguard assets and data integrity. Overseeing the lifecycle management of hardware and software models within the CMDB will be necessary, following asset management directives. Applying a continuous improvement mindset to asset management and optimizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness will be expected. You will identify and enhance processes related to asset and configuration management and support various IT projects by providing expertise in asset management, tracking, and reporting.
