NPD Process Specialist/NPD Technologist
Based in Wakefield/Leeds area
Monday – Friday, days-based, flexible start times
Due to significant investment and NPD activities on a large, world-class manufacturing site, we are recruiting for an NPD Process Specialist.
About The Role
They produce and manufacture many of their own food products, helping them stay close to customer needs. You will be part of an exciting team creating delicious food products, innovating new items or perfecting existing ones, impacting customers’ tables directly.
As a key player in their product development team, you’ll own process development projects from concept to launch, overseeing process execution and ensuring timely delivery. You will also manage key factory process settings to meet specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Own the process: Lead development ensuring quality at each step
* Communicate effectively: Keep stakeholders informed of project progress
* Manage timelines: Keep projects on schedule
* Ensure compliance: Maintain accurate documentation for regulatory standards
* Collaborate: Work with colleagues to turn product briefs into reality
* Work with suppliers: Source raw materials and handle related paperwork
* Coordinate factory trials and first production runs to ensure quality
* Manage factory processes to optimize line settings for quality
About You
* Exceptional communication skills to engage stakeholders
* Strong project management experience in process control/NPD
* Relationship-building skills with colleagues and suppliers
