GSL Education are looking for a Geography Teacher to join in their beautiful school in Rotherham. We need someone to inspire students about the world. You'll teach about lands, maps, and people. Join us and make a real difference in young lives.
About the Role: As a Geography Teacher, you will deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons, encouraging students to explore and understand the world around them. You will play a key role in preparing students for assessments, promoting academic success, and fostering a love for Geography.
Responsibilities For this Position:
* Plan, deliver, and evaluate high-quality Geography lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Develop resources and activities to make learning accessible and engaging for all students.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes a love for learning.
* Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the Humanities department and the wider school community.
* Support students in preparing for exams, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
* Maintain accurate records of student performance and provide reports as required.
Geography Teacher Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialist in Geography or a related field.
* Experience teaching Geography at the secondary school level.
* Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
* A passion for Geography and the ability to inspire curiosity in students.
* Commitment to promoting high standards of teaching and learning.
