Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Social Worker to join the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team in Greater Manchester. This locum position offers a highly competitive hourly rate of £39.00 and the flexibility to work either part-time or full-time, depending on your personal and professional commitments.
You will play a vital role in safeguarding children and supporting families, working within a collaborative multi-agency environment to ensure that the welfare and safety of children remain the top priority.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, assess, and triage referrals relating to children who may be at risk of harm or in need of support.
Gather, analyse, and share information from partner agencies to inform threshold decisions and ensure appropriate interventions.
Identify and manage risks in accordance with statutory safeguarding responsibilities, making sound professional judgments to protect children.
Provide clear recommendations for further action, including Child and Family Assessments, Section 47 enquiries, or Early Help interventions.
Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and up-to-date case records in line with local and national policies.
Actively participate in multi-agency discussions, offering professional insight to aid collaborative safeguarding decisions.
Contribute to a culture of learning, development, and continuous improvement within the MASH team.
