Not afraid of a challenge? We need committed, knowledgeable social workers to help us with our core business – empowering and supporting people who need signposting, community support, or direct help from the Council. We have a strong operating model of strength-based practice.
At this difficult time, the Council Leadership has emphasized their support for our statutory functions, including Adult Social Care. We know our priorities.
We are committed to staff welfare, with dedicated support such as a Training Officer supporting adult social care, a Deputy Principal Social Worker for staff welfare and practice, and recent upgrades to our electronic recording system.
