Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in landscape maintenance and horticulture, with a passion for creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This role involves working with various hand and power tools, as well as machinery such as excavators, to ensure the highest quality of landscape care.
Duties
* Perform regular landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging to maintain aesthetic appeal.
* Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks.
* Conduct irrigation system installations, repairs, and maintenance to ensure optimal water distribution.
* Assist in the construction of landscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
* Identify and manage plant health issues through proper gardening techniques and horticultural knowledge.
* Maintain equipment by performing routine checks and servicing as necessary to ensure functionality.
* Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
Experience
* Proven experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred.
* Mechanical knowledge is essential for operating and maintaining landscaping equipment.
* Familiarity with excavators and other heavy machinery is advantageous.
* A background in gardening or horticulture will be beneficial for plant care responsibilities.
