Blue Dog Training, an award-winning Registered Training Organisation (RTO) with over two decades of experience in delivering high-quality training across the construction and engineering sectors, is seeking a qualified and experienced First Aid/CPR Trainer & Assessor to join our growing team.
Based at our Arundel office, this full-time role involves the delivery of accredited First Aid and CPR training across a range of client sites including schools and organisations throughout the Gold Coast and Brisbane regions.
The focus of this role will include:
* Delivering practical and engaging training sessions daily for First Aid/CPR (HLTAID009 CPR through to HLTAID012 Provide an Emergency First Aid Response)
* Adapt training delivery to meet individual learner needs and support diverse learning styles
* Provide accurate, constructive assessment and feedback to students
* Maintain accurate and timely training and assessment records in accordance with RTO compliance standards
* Ensure delivery aligns with industry best practice and national training package requirements
* Engage positively with students and clients, representing Blue Dog Training professionally at all times
* Undertake associated training, assessment and administrative tasks as required.
This role requires an engaging communicator to facilitate practical training sessions. To be considered, you should demonstrate:
* TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
* Current HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid (or ability to upgrade to HLTAID012 if required)
* Previous experience delivering First Aid and/or CPR training
* Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in using digital systems, including Learning Management Systems (LMS)
* Eligibility to obtain a Working with Children Blue Card (Qld)
* Current open drivers’ licence
* Industry experience in healthcare, emergency response, or a related field (desirable)
