What will I be doing?
This role will predominantly support the Quality Management System, starting at the beginning of the process and reviewing all waste material entering the site. You will identify target and non-target materials, playing a critical role in how the material is processed, the quality of the product produced, and how we manage our customers throughout the journey.
The role will involve:
* Collecting quality samples from incoming and processed materials to assess purity.
* Recording levels of target material and reporting non-conformance after sampling.
* Operating the weighbridge (full training provided) and maintaining general housekeeping.
What are the requirements?
We are seeking an enthusiastic team player to join our existing team and help ensure site operations exceed required standards.
The role requires:
* A flexible approach, including providing holiday and sickness cover.
* A methodical approach, ideally with QA experience, but full training will be provided.
* Good safety awareness and a desire to embrace and develop continuous improvement.
* Previous experience in high-volume production processes, preferably in the waste industry.
* Good IT literacy; any lean Six Sigma certifications are a bonus.
