About the scheme:
Our 12-month rotational graduate programme is designed to give you hands-on experience across multiple areas of the business through two six month placements. The areas we can offer you experience in include Operations, Risk, Tech and Optimisation to name just a few! This is a cross-disciplinary role, but we're particularly keen to hear from graduates who aspire to work in quantitative fields, especially those with backgrounds in econometrics or financial mathematics, statistical marketing, renewable or chemical engineering, commercial law, regulation or strategy and data science, data engineering or analytics - particularly where there's ML/AI capability. A passion for renewable energy, EnergyTech and FinTech is a great start!
What will you be doing?
Contributing to live projects from day one, alongside experienced mentors.
Applying quantitative reasoning and working with data and technology to solve real-world energy, financial and commercial challenges.
Participating in tailored training modules and soft-skills workshops.
Working with cross-functional teams to innovate and build client-ready solutions.
Presenting your own ideas and initiatives.
Each placement is designed to develop your:
Commercial and strategic thinking.
Understanding of how UrbanChain Ltd works.
Analytical skills.
Knowledge and experience.
How will you be supported?

You will be provided with feedback and coaching at every step of the way, to ensure your success and personal growth.
You will be provided with a mentor from our management team who will work with you throughout the year on a personal development plan and ensure you get the right technical, personal and professional learning to help you grow your skills.
Ideal experience and background:
A recent graduate with a relevant degree
Master's degree preferable
Previous relevant work experience
Experience with data analysis and AI
Reasonable at a coding language
Fluency in another language (preferred)
You will be at the heart of scaling UrbanChain’s next phase, helping us dominate the market, drive exponential growth, and create a global brand.
