Trainee Project Manager (Contracts)

The Ideal Candidate:
* Experience: At least 3 years of relevant construction/ground investigation experience
* Skills: Working knowledge of ground investigation and heath & safety awareness is a must. Ability to coordinate and execute ground investigations, manage costs, and deliver projects on time and within budget. Strong communication skills internally and externally, punctual, reliable, and trustworthy.
* Qualifications: BSc (MSc preferable), working towards Chartered Status (or plan to), SMSTS and CSCS Management qualifications desirable, Risk Assessment Appreciation Training.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and execute ground investigations.
* Preparation and management of multiple site investigation projects from contract award through to financial closure.
* Prepare and deliver factual reports in accordance with project milestone dates.
* Preparation and delivery of construction phase plans incorporating RAMS.
* Contribute expertise and provide input into the planning stage of new projects.
* Ensure follow-up on payments for works completed.
* Monitor costs in relation to individual contract works.
* Prepare and deliver technical reports.
* Assist the HSEQ Advisor in investigations into accidents and incidents.
* Maintain effective communication with clients and directors.
* Develop personal objectives and participate in professional growth opportunities.
* Assist in the maintenance and improvement of Health and Safety, Quality, and Environmental accreditation.
* Monitor contractual and assurance performance.
* Ensure electronic access to all relevant projects is kept up to date.
Travel Requirements:
Predominantly office-based with occasional site meetings to assess progress and meet client representatives. Based out of Glasgow office.
