Position: Forklift Driver
Location: Dungannon
Reporting to: Production Supervisor
Hours of Work: 39 hours per week
What you will do
As a Forklift Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe, accurate and efficient flow of materials across the Dungannon site. Working as part of a team, you will support Production and Stores operations by delivering materials on time, to specification and in line with standard work, within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
1. Operate forklifts and other Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) safely and efficiently, including:
Counterbalance
Reach Truck
Pallet Stacker
2. Transport materials between Stores, Production and other designated areas
3. Load and unload material deliveries, ensuring correct handling and storage
4. Support Production through the timely and accurate supply of parts
5. Carry out daily equipment checks and report any defects promptly
6. Maintain accurate paperwork and system records
7. Adhere to inventory control procedures to support stock accuracy
8. Comply with all health & safety, environmental and waste management procedures
9. Follow Standard Work instructions and site operating procedures
10. Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace organisation (5S)
11. Carry out additional duties as required in line with the role
What you will bring
12. Previous experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing, warehouse or industrial environment
13. Valid PIT licence (Counterbalance essential)
14. Strong focus on safety and attention to detail
15. Self‑motivated with a proactive approach to work
16. Strong teamwork and communication skills
17. Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
18. A continuous improvement mindset
