Job Title: Stock Control & Logistics Coordinator
Location: Trafford Park
Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time (fully office based)
Salary: £30,-32, + Bonus
About Our Client:
Our client is a leading player in their field, dedicated to innovation and sustainability. With a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, they are looking for a motivated Stock Control & Logistics Coordinator to join their dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
1. Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure optimal inventory
2. Coordinate logistics and distribution of products
3. Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions
4. Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to optimise supply chain processes
5. Conduct regular stock audits and resolve discrepancies
6. Prepare and present inventory reports to management
7. Daily responsibility for all imports into site, control of relevant documentation & ensuring correct on-costs are applied prior to receipting
8. Completion of Customs declaration forms
9. Working out of the Manchester depot and mainly covering purchases into the Manchester depot for the Dublin site
10. Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
11. Proven experience in stock control and logistics management
12. Experience in Import / Export handling and Customs documentation
13. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
14. Proficiency in inventory management software
15. Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
16. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
17. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
18. SAP experience would be highly desirable
Technologies:
19. Inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
20. Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
21. Barcode scanning systems
