General Manager

The successful candidate must be highly motivated, self-driven, have the ability to develop and motivate a team, have good leadership skills both front and back of house with a 'can do' attitude.
The GM will plan and oversee all operations including managing staff, ensuring the site is fully compliant at all times and ensuring product and service standards are set and implemented. The ability to maintain and develop procedures and staff training to maximum operating efficiency with exceptional customer service, a must.
The GM will have accountability for budgeting and financial management, understanding and analysis of P&L to maintain and increase margins and turnover. The GM will be responsible for planning, organising and directing all services, including front of house and food and beverage operations.
Main Responsibilities:
* Developing a high performing and motivated team
* Responsible for the successful day to day management of the bar
* Ensure all Health and Safety standards are met
* Ensure all guest complaints are dealt with prominently and efficiently
* Continuously delivering great guest service
* Developing and training a high performing and motivated team
You must have:
* Proven experience in a pub environment at a similar level
* Previous experience of budgets, recruitment, stock control, ordering & staff management
* Ability to work well under pressure
* Ability to work at pace without compromising on standards
* A keen eye for fine attention to detail, high standards and be quality driven
* Excellent organizational & communication skills
* Able to work on your own and be a great team player
* A 'Can do' attitude
* A hands-on approach and leadership by example
