About the Role
* SEND Teaching Assistant
* 8.30 until 3.30
* Day to day and long term supply needs.
* Support children with complex needs the school are looking for staff with the following skills- Trachea theory and practical, Moving and Handling theory and practical. Jejunostomy pump, Gastronomy button And VNS
* Age 3-18 year olds
* Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and structured lessons.
* Supporting pupils one-to-one or in small groups to enhance learning.
* Promoting positive behaviour and helping to create an inclusive classroom environment.
* Preparing learning resources and assisting with classroom organization.
* Supporting children with additional learning needs where required.

Person Specification
To be considered for this role candidates must have / be able to demonstrate:
* A L2/L3 Teaching Assistant qualification and/or exceptional relatable experience of working as a Teaching Assistant.
* Experience of working as a teaching Assistant in a British curriculum school for a minimum of two terms.
* Full enhanced DBS certificate.
* Completion of the Connex Education Onboarding Process.
* The ability to show a genuine desire and passion for working as a teaching assistant.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong rapport building skills, with pupils and with co-workers.
* A minimum of 2 school based references
