Finance Analyst required for an established and highly visited Charity in Surrey. Please note this is a 6 month interim vacancy.
Description
1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Manage end-to-end forecasting, budgeting, and annual financial planning processes for the retail business unit.
2. Financial Modelling: Design, build, and maintain complex financial models (e.g., for valuation, new initiatives, M&A, capital projects) to evaluate costs, project profits, and assess risk.
3. Performance Analysis: Produce timely and detailed analysis on sales, costs, and overall business performance, including variance analysis (comparing actuals to budget/forecast) and identifying trends.
4. Strategic Insight & Recommendation: Interpret financial and non-financial data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management for improving business performance, optimizing resource allocation, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
