The Cambian Group, the UK's largest provider of specialist services in education, mental health rehabilitation and learning disabilities, is looking for a dedicated, caring individual to join the company as a Specialist Occupational Therapist.
Cambian New Elizabethan School is a day school that offers outstanding opportunitiesfor boys and girls with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, communication difficulties, complex needs and challenging behaviour.
Responsibilities
* You will work alongside a full multidisciplinary team including clinicians, care and Education staff. You will have opportunities to be part of the provision development and contribute to the improvement Occupational Therapy service.
* Working autonomously, you will provide quality assessments, reports and needs led interventions for young people and work with the school staff to embed sensory strategies across the environment.
Qualifications / Requirements
* Experience working with ASD client group
* CAMHS experience preferred
* A degree or a post graduate diploma in Occupational Therapy
* Registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and RCOT
* Experience in providing supervision, staff consultation and training is required
