Overview
Join Our Team of Inspiring Music Educators
Dudley Performing Arts (DPA) is proud to be a leading delivery partner within the Black Country Music Education Hub. We provide high-quality music tuition across schools, academies, colleges, and other educational settings throughout the Dudley borough. Much of our work supports the National Plan for Music Education, and includes small group and individual tuition, whole-class teaching, early years music, and a wide range of performance ensembles.
We are currently looking to expand our team and are seeking vocal and instrumental teachers (all instruments) to join us as casual staff.
Our tutors work across over 90% of Dudley schools, delivering a broad and exciting programme of music education. Opportunities include:
* One-to-one and small group tuition (beginner to undergraduate level)
* Whole-class instrumental teaching
* Early years music sessions
* Work in special education settings
* Leading bands, choirs, and ensembles
* Contributing to our growing out-of-school Music School, based at our state-of-the-art facility at Cable Plaza
While we value experienced teachers, we are equally passionate about developing musicians who may be new to education. If you have strong musical skills and a desire to inspire young people, we’d love to hear from you.
Qualifications and Opportunities
We welcome applications from musicians of all backgrounds and specialisms. Many of our current team started as casual employees and have gone on to secure permanent roles. Casual staff are offered tailored terms and conditions, including access to the Teachers’ Pension Scheme.
