About VR Platform
We’re building accounting software for vacation rental managers — the kind that actually makes their lives easier.
Managing money across dozens (or hundreds) of properties is messy. Payments, owner statements, expenses, trust accounts — it’s a lot. VR Platform ties all of that together so property managers can spend less time reconciling and more time running their business.
We’re a small, product-led team of around ten people, spread across the US, Europe, and Japan. We’re bootstrapped, calm by default, and we like working with people who think clearly, move quickly, and care about craft.
Why We Need You
Right now, ideas and feedback are flying in from every direction — customers, founders, support, integrations. It’s exciting, but it also means we need someone who can bring focus.
We’re looking for a product manager who loves turning chaos into clarity. Someone who can take all that input, figure out what matters most, and help the team finish great work — not just start it.
You don’t need an accounting background. You just need curiosity, strong judgment, and a love of building simple things that work beautifully.
What You’ll Be Doing
Keep the Product Moving
* Turn ideas and requests into clear, buildable scopes.
* Run focused standups and sprint planning (short, calm, no theater).
* Keep a few key projects moving, not fifteen half-finished ones.
* Step in when decisions stall — make the call and move on.
Bridge the Team
* Work with Adam, Jesse & Frank (co-founders) on what really matters next.
* Collaborate with Radek (design) early in the process — before pixels exist.
* Partner with Ben (co-founder, back-end), Jordan (back-end) and Lars (front-end) to make sure scopes are solid and shippable.
* Help connect what customers say with what the team builds.
Guide Integrations and Partnerships
* Prioritize the integrations that unlock the most value (PMS, payments, expense tools).
* Help explore partnerships with within our ecosystem.
* Support build–buy–integrate decisions that keep us lean and fast.
What Success Looks Like
* The team ships regularly and confidently.
* Customers see progress they can feel.
* The roadmap is clear and energizing.
* Everyone knows what “done” means.
You’ll Do Great Here If You
* Have built and scoped real software products before.
* Enjoy figuring things out with limited info.
* Like writing — and can explain complex ideas simply.
* Care more about outcomes than process.
* Are comfortable (kindly) pushing back when it matters.
Nice to Have
* Experience in B2B SaaS or fintech.
* Familiarity with vacation rentals, accounting, payments, or integrations.
* Startup experience, especially at the 10–50 person stage.
What to Expect Early On
Weeks 1–2: Join our standups, watch how things flow, and talk to a few customers.
Month 1: Take ownership of one major feature — maybe ACH payments or expense sync — and see it through to launch.
Month 2–3: Fully own the product process. Developers and designers come to you for direction, not the founders.
