SEN Teaching Assistant – Full-Time | Salford | January Start
Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working with a highly respected and inclusive primary school in Salford, which is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join its team full-time from January. This rewarding position runs from 8:30am to 3:30pm, providing tailored one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities
* Provide targeted support to pupils with SEN on an individual and small-group basis
* Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering personalised learning activities
* Contribute to the development and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
* Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
* Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to monitor progress
* Adapt support strategies to suit the changing needs of learners
What We’re Looking For
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
* Experience working with children with SEN
* A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
* Level 2 Safeguarding certification (or willingness to complete training)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
