Semi-skilled Construction Operative
Working in our properties across the North East
Permanent, full time 37.5 hpw Monday to Friday, with on call on a rota basis
£28,822 per annum plus van great benefits including matching pension contributions

What you’ll do
1. As Semi-skilled Construction Operative, all allocated jobs are completed right first time, with a whole job repair approach, providing a brilliant service for our customers.
2. Supporting our trades team across a range of repairs, maintenance and property refurbishment tasks including Joiners, Roofers, Decorators, Bricklayers, Plumbers etc.
3. Site activities including clearing, disposals, driving and storage of materials. You’ll support us to improve first time fixes and prevent multiple visits to customers’ homes.
4. Delivering high-quality and compliant work.
5. Working in our properties in/across Area (this needs to be a commutable distance for you). All jobs are scheduled so you know exactly where you need to be.

You have
6. Experience in a range of semi-skilled work in a maintenance environment.
7. Knowledge of building construction and building trade activities.
8. A flexible approach, able to use your own initiative and judgement.
9. A full current driving licence, as you will be provided with a company van for business use and commuting.

10. Working Monday to Friday
11. You must be able to use technology for logging jobs, complete online learning and collaborating with other colleagues.
12. You’ll need a Basic DBS and health check done, we pay for that.
