Pay and hours
Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £12.45 an hour; this increases to £13.66 for stores inside the M25. For hours worked between midnight and 6am you will receive an additional night premium of £2.35 per hour. Additional payments may apply depending on location. It is our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week; if you would like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too.
Availability and scheduling
The table shows the periods of time in the week we would like you to be available to work — the availability windows. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you’ll have 3 weeks’ notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We are happy to support flexibility if your times match closely but not exactly to the advertised times.

You will be responsible for
* Knowing your customers and serving them with passion and pride; delivering natural service
* Being passionate and knowledgeable about the store’s products and services
* Working across service, picking and replenishment areas as required
* Applying training to work safely, effectively, and to serve customers brilliantly
* Making decisions that are right for customers and delivering routines that meet customer needs
