Required Skills Family law Solicitor Job Summary RecQuest is working on behalf of an ambitious law firm looking to expand its Family Law team and seeking a dedicated Family Law Solicitor to join them in Ringwood. They are searching for a motivated individual with 2 years PQE, experienced in handling family law matters, who can manage and grow an existing caseload. Key Responsibilities: - Providing expert legal advice on family law matters, including divorce, separation, financial settlements, and cohabitation agreements. - Advising on matters related to child arrangements, parental responsibility, and disputes. - Drafting pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements tailored to clients' needs. - Representing clients in court proceedings and negotiations, ensuring their best interests are upheld. - Handling sensitive cases involving domestic abuse and emergency injunctions. - Advising on alternative dispute resolution methods, including mediation and collaborative law. What They Offer: - Competitive salary range: £45,000 – £60,000 - Full-time, permanent role - Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00 What We’re Looking For: - Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (minimum 2 years PQE) with experience in Family Law matters. - Strong organisational skills, with the ability to independently manage a busy caseload. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in handling sensitive and emotional client situations. - A compassionate, client-focused approach combined with business acumen to help build and grow the firm's client base. - Previous experience using case management systems.
