As an ASIC Design engineer, you will have the opportunity to work in the beautiful City of Edinburgh. The city offers a mix of historic architecture, vibrant culture, and modern amenities, including cafés, restaurants, green spaces, and excellent public transport.
The Role
You will join a company that provides a broad range of IP, including CPUs, DSPs, memory and IO controllers, hardware accelerators, and subsystem solutions, used across the semiconductor industry.
Your responsibilities include developing and designing reference systems for applications such as Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Radar, Automotive, and other high-performance domains. You will have strong experience in IP integration and SoC/compute system implementation, collaborating closely with development teams on compute and interface IP.
Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and debug SoC reference systems.
* Integrate compute, memory, and interface IP in system designs.
* Analyse IP products and implementation flows.
* Identify and implement best practices in hardware design and verification.
Requirements
* BS in Electronic Engineering/Computer Science with 8+ years’ work experience, or MS with 5+ years’ experience.
* At least 5 years of ASIC design AND verification experience.
* Expertise in processor design, on-chip communication, high-speed interfaces, or chiplets.
* Proficiency in Verilog/SystemVerilog and RTL design techniques.
* Experience with UVM for verification; FPGA or emulation experience is a plus.
