Northampton Children's Trust is looking for a Team Manager to lead their Children in Care Long-Term Team, providing strategic oversight and operational leadership to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people in care
As a Team Manager, you will provide leadership and oversight for a team of social workers who support children in long-term care arrangements. You will be responsible for driving performance, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and promoting best practice across the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of social workers within the Children in Care Long-Term Team.
Provide regular supervision, guidance, and professional development for staff.
Oversee care planning and permanency arrangements for children and young people.
Ensure compliance with legislation, statutory guidance, and safeguarding standards.
Monitor team performance and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
Work collaboratively with partner agencies, carers, and families to deliver holistic care plans.
Manage resources effectively, balancing caseloads and ensuring timely interventions.
