In this role, you will take on a strategic position in our Electricity Transmission business, with overall responsibility for managing our day-to-day relationship with Ofgem through clear, transparent, and effective engagement, communication, and reporting.
What you'll be getting up to
* Develop relationships with key Ofgem stakeholders to understand their requirements and priorities.
* Build on this insight to develop and implement an engagement and communications strategy, with reporting to demonstrate progress against Ofgem’s key priorities.
* Set and drive standards for our engagement with Ofgem, including formal submissions, ensuring high-quality, clear, transparent, and consistent communications.
* Contribute to the development of future regulatory frameworks supporting major projects.
* Horizon scan for future regulatory issues and help build mitigation plans, demonstrating proactive management to Ofgem.
* Provide advice and guidance to our teams on effective engagement with Ofgem across regulation, finance, engineering, strategic planning, and project delivery.
* Lead the management and mitigation of key issues and risks across our portfolio of mega-projects, from construction to early development stages.
What's in it for you?
Basic salary between £83,000 and £105,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Accountabilities
* Develop and implement stakeholder and risk management plans, ensuring relationships, plans, and actions are agreed, developed, tracked, and communicated.
* Build and maintain trusted relationships with customers and regulators.
* Manage reporting to the regulator, influencing regulatory matters to ensure the best outcomes for the business, including network code development, consultation responses, and attendance at working groups.
* Ensure legislative and regulatory changes are understood, communicated, and implemented in accordance with license requirements.
About you
- Experience in a commercial role within a highly regulated industry, preferably energy, utilities, or infrastructure.
- Project management and delivery experience.
- Experience working closely with and managing relationships with regulators, preferably OFGEM.
