We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Weekend Kitchen Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen staff by assisting with meal preparation, food safety, and maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment. This position is perfect for individuals looking to gain experience in the catering or restaurant industry while contributing to the delivery of exceptional dining experiences. Applicants must be over the age of 16.
Duties
* Assist in meal preparation and food preparation tasks under the guidance of chefs and kitchen staff.
* Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to, maintaining a clean and hygienic workspace.
* Support the cooking process by preparing ingredients, such as chopping vegetables and measuring ingredients.
* Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces throughout the shift.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and effective communication.
