Lead Manufacturing Technician
Belfast, Northern Ireland
12 month Fixed-Term Contract
Closing Date: 31st December 2025
We will be interviewing for this role in January 2026.

About The Role
The world's supply of Baileys comes from two production sites; Dublin and Belfast. Over 6.7 million cases of Baileys Original and Baileys Flavours leave the gates of these two sites every year, destined for over 130 countries worldwide.
Our indulgent blend of aged Irish whiskey and luscious dairy cream, with hints of cocoa and vanilla, is loved the world over and sold in over a hundred and sixty countries. Our dedicated, experienced and skilled team produces and bottles 8.9 million cases of Baileys each year.
As a Lead Manufacturing Technician at Diageo in Mallusk, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our liquid processing operations. You will support the Shift Manager in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production by interpreting schedules, deploying resources, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. Your leadership will help maintain workplace safety, product excellence, and environmental responsibility while driving performance through mentoring, training, and problem-solving. You will also oversee daily operational reviews and autonomous maintenance activities, ensuring all established standards are consistently met
About You
We're seeking an enthusiastic and proactive professional with a strong background in manufacturing or process operations, ideally within a fast-paced, dedicated environment.
In addition, you’ll be able to demonstrate the following:
* Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills which enable you to motivate teams.
* A solid understanding of root cause problem-solving principles, autonomous maintenance, asset care, and workplace methodologies such as 5S.
* A passion for developing others and fostering a collaborative team environment.
* A strong commitment to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
