About the Role
As Deputy Headteacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the school s culture, driving improvements in behaviour, attendance, and inclusion, and supporting the Headteacher in leading the school through continued development and success.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead on behaviour, culture, and attendance strategies to improve student outcomes
* Support the Headteacher with the strategic leadership and day-to-day running of the school
* Provide visible, consistent leadership, modelling high expectations for staff and students
* Lead, motivate, and develop staff working in challenging classroom and pastoral settings
* Analyse data to identify areas for improvement and implement targeted interventions
* Work collaboratively with external agencies to support vulnerable students
* Promote and maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

* Proven leadership experience within a challenging or high-need school setting
* Strong expertise in behaviour management, safeguarding, and inclusion
* Resilient, calm under pressure, and solution-focused
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and staff development skills
* Committed to raising standards and delivering measurable improvements
* Passionate about supporting both staff and students to achieve their full potential
