Job Description
Job Title: Cloakroom Attendant
Department: Housekeeping
Inspired and Supported by: Executive Housekeeper
Salary: £32,437 (including service charge)
Your purpose will be: Responsible for the Hotel’s Cloakrooms from both ongoing service and cleanliness
You will be accountable for:
4. Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
5. To show utmost courtesy to all guests and help wherever the need arises
6. To give guests directions as and when needed
7. To tag all bags and coats properly and hand over to the guest the corresponding number
8. To keep all bags out of sight and secure
9. To return any items to guest only when corresponding ticket is handed in
10. By end of shift to hand over all Lost and Found articles over to Security
11. If any ticket loss occurs to make sure with help of Security, the matter is solved to full satisfaction of guest
12. If and when needed to arrange with Valet to supply customer with jacket and tie to comply with dress code
13. Act as Ambassador for hotel, interacting with all guests and patrons in a positive and engaging manner at every opportunity.
14. To keep all wet areas (urinals, toilets, washbasins always floor ) spotlessly clean
15. To ensure constant supply of clean hand towels and other as required
16. To monitor and replace all paper requirements in a timely manner
17. To leave on display and refill agreed guest supplies
18. To maintain stock of additional items to be available upon request
19. To provide if and when needed shoeshine service
20. To hand out towels to patrons and assist in other reasonable hygiene needs (eg turning on taps) as required.
21. To cooperate fully with all other operating departments in the hotel.
Qualifications
What you will need to do in this role?
22. 1-3 years’ experience working in the Hospitality Industry.
23. Outstanding communication skills, both written & verbal.
24. Flexibility is required from Monday to Sunday, shift patterns: 07:00–15:30, 16:30–01:00, and additional shifts in between.
25. Good toilet cleaning skills, ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
26. A confident & dynamic speaker, able to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of an organization.
27. Enthusiastic and positive personality with the ability to build trusting relationships with others.
28. Proven organizational skills, works well on their own. Able to set and meet deadlines with quality results.
29. Applicable job-related skills as per Accountable Duties.
