Day rate: £400 - £450
Duration: ongoing
We are looking for a Freelance Design manager for our client based from the Brighton office.
Key Responsibilities of the Freelance Design Manager:
* Manage and coordinate the design process from pre-construction through to delivery.
* Ensure design information is delivered on time to meet programme requirements.
* Review drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements, security standards, and buildability.
* Lead design team meetings and manage the flow of information between stakeholders.
* Work closely with site and commercial teams to resolve design issues and maintain project progress.
* Ensure design solutions meet MOD and secure facility requirements.
Required Qualifications/Experience as a Freelance Design Manager:
* Proven experience as a Design Manager within the construction sector.
* Experience delivering secure government, defence, custodial, or highly regulated projects is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of design coordination and technical compliance. xcswzye
* Ability to manage multiple consultants and maintain design programmes.
