Finance Business Partner – Eye, Suffolk – £35,000 – 40,000 If you’re looking for a more commercial finance role where you can influence decisions, partner with operational teams, and play a key part in driving performance, this Finance Business Partner position could be a great next step. You’ll join a well‑established manufacturing business and work closely with the Financial Controller, and operational leaders across the site. You’ll take ownership of key month‑end processes, support cost and margin analysis, and provide insight that helps the business understand performance and make informed decisions. This is a hands‑on, varied role with real visibility and the chance to make a measurable impact. What you’ll be doing • Supporting month‑end reporting, including accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations • Providing analysis on stock, manufacturing costs, overheads, and variances to budget • Preparing inventory movement trackers and supporting stock reporting • Reviewing cost of sales, PPV, and margin performance • Supporting sales and order reporting, helping the business understand trends and drivers • Partnering with manufacturing teams on KPIs, performance reporting, and operational improvements • Assisting with audit preparation, ERP development, and continuous improvement projects • Helping drive automation, efficiency, and better financial processes across the team What you’ll bring • Experience in a manufacturing finance environment, with strong analytical and commercial awareness • Excellent Excel skills and confidence working with complex data • A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset and the confidence to challenge and influence • Ideally, you will be part-qualified (ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent If you enjoy getting into the details, partnering with the business, and helping drive performance, this role offers the chance to grow, develop, and make a real difference.
