Overview
Syme Drummond is delighted to be partnering with a well-established and highly respected organisation to support the appointment of a Learning & Development People Partner. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Learning & Development professional to join a business at a particularly exciting point in its journey. The organisation is currently going through a significant period of transformation and change, creating a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys helping organisations build capability, develop talent and support colleagues through evolving business needs. Perhaps you started your career in HR and discovered a passion for Learning & Development along the way. Maybe you've found yourself increasingly drawn towards organisational learning and helping people reach their potential. If so, this could be an excellent next step. This isn't a traditional HR Business Partner role. Equally, it's not a purely delivery-focused Learning & Development position. Instead, you'll sit at the intersection of HR, Learning & Development, organisational capability and business change, partnering with stakeholders across the organisation to identify skills gaps, develop practical learning solutions and support wider people initiatives.
Responsibilities
* Partnering with stakeholders across the business to identify learning and capability needs
* Designing and delivering engaging learning interventions
* Creating blended learning solutions, including workshops, digital content and e-learning
* Supporting onboarding, capability and development programmes
* Working closely with subject matter experts to translate technical knowledge into engaging learning experiences
* Contributing to wider people and organisational change initiatives
What are we looking for
* Experience partnering with stakeholders on learning and capability initiatives
* Experience designing and delivering learning solutions from needs analysis through to evaluation
* Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
* Confidence working alongside leaders and subject matter experts
* Experience supporting organisational change or transformation initiatives
* A commercial mindset and the ability to think beyond the immediate learning requirement
Financial Services experience would be highly advantageous; however, we're also keen to hear from individuals within other highly regulated sectors, as experience navigating regulatory frameworks and operating in a regulated environment is a key requirement for this role.
Why this opportunity
This is a chance to join a collaborative People team where ideas are welcomed, improvement is encouraged, and Learning & Development plays an important role in supporting the wider business. You'll work alongside an experienced and highly regarded senior L&D leader, gaining exposure to a broad range of learning, capability and organisational development projects whilst helping shape the future of the organisation during a period of significant change.
If you're looking for a role where you can genuinely influence, improve and make an impact, we'd love to hear from you.
