Sales Representative for Healthcare Sector
Salary will depend on experience.: £46,000. (car, phone, laptop etc.) Monday to Friday
Person must come from a clinical/medical/surgical sales background
The Client is a leading Irish medical and surgical services company. Family owned and managed, we are dedicated to delivering and supplying the highest quality products in four key areas: Pressure Therapy Medical and Surgical Supplies, Electronic Security Systems and Equipment Repair & Maintenance. Established over 30 years ago, we work with our global suppliers to continue to introduce innovative products to the Irish market to improve patient care.
Key Responsibilities
* Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders — doctors, nurses, consultants, and purchasing managers.
* Sales Promotion: Deliver product presentations and conduct meetings to drive awareness and adoption.
* Brand Development: Position market leader in the medical & surgical and electronic security system segment.
* Target Achievement: Meet or exceed agreed sales and business growth targets.
* Market Insight: Provide valuable feedback on market trends, opportunities, and challenges.
* CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of activities, clients, and opportunities in the company’s CRM system.
Required Education / Skills
* Clinical background preferred (e.g., nursing, physiotherapy, biomedical sciences), though not essential.
* Professional and personable demeanour — ability to engage credibly with healthcare professionals.
* Sales experience is advantageous, particularly in medical or healthcare-related fields.
Experience Profile
* Familiarity with the NHS structure and decision-making process is valuable.
* A proven sales track record is desirable, ideally within healthcare or medical devices.
