We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join a supportive primary school team. The ideal candidate will foster a love of learning and help pupils make excellent progress as they prepare for the transition to upper Key Stage 2. Beginning ASAP.
Duties as Year 5 Teacher:
* Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
* Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND or EAL
* Assess, record, and report on pupil progress, setting high expectations for achievement and behaviour
* Establish a positive, stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity and independence
* Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues to support each child’s development
* Contribute to the wider life of the school through clubs, trips, and enrichment activities
Ideal Year 5 Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent
* Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
* Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective assessment strategies
* Excellent classroom management and organisational skills as Year 5 Teacher.
* Commitment to safeguarding and continuous professional development
