Opportunity
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic team member to help us with our growing workload in flood risk management and river engineering. The role will focus on supporting the delivery of projects for our major clients across the Midlands, Wales and West, including the Environment Agency and Natural Resources Wales.
Key areas we work in include catchment science and management, dams and reservoirs engineering, flood risk management, integrated drainage modelling and network rehabilitation, asset management, and climate change studies. Other key areas of work include natural flood management, river and waterway engineering, wastewater infrastructure and treatment, water resources management and water treatment and supply.
Responsibilities
* Working with Arup colleagues in specialisms such as Flood and Coastal Risk Management, regulatory, infrastructure and water advisory, site development, sustainability and environmental planning.
* Working closely with clients in an advisory capacity to understand challenges in a range of water disciplines.
* Working with a range of stakeholders in a consultancy and research capacity.
* Supporting the integration of our wide‑ranging water skills and disciplines on projects.
* You will be mentored by Arup staff to develop to your full potential, with full support for Chartership with relevant institutions.
* You will provide support to team members to deliver an effective and professional service to our clients.
