We provide human cut, personalised meals designed to support each dog’s unique needs, delivered straight to their door - no preservatives, no compromises, just real nutrition. You can find our customers across the UK, with ambitions to scale internationally and keep transforming how people care for their dogs. Your Mission We’re looking for a commercially driven leader to launch Years.com into physical retail and expand our B2B footprint - creating new growth engines for the business beyond direct-to-consumer. This is a hands-on role from day one: you’ll be speaking directly to retail buyers, securing listings, crafting merchandising plans, and delivering early wins without an existing retail team in place. As we grow our retail and B2B channels, you’ll have the opportunity to build and lead your own team, scaling our presence in pet specialty, grocery, and beyond. This role will work closely with marketing, supply chain, and product to ensure every launch runs smoothly and every in-store presence reflects our brand promise. We’re seeking someone with a proven track record of either taking a consumer brand from £0 to £10m revenue or delivering significant growth in pet food retail/grocery - ideally both. Your expertise will shape how Years moves from a loved D2C brand to a household name on the high street. Key Responsibilities Retail Strategy & Execution - Develop and deliver our retail launch plan, from channel selection to in-store merchandising and promotional activity. Secure retail partnerships across pet specialty, grocery, and other relevant outlets. B2B Sales Expansion - Identify and pursue B2B opportunities beyond retail, including hospitality, leisure, and corporate partnerships. Negotiate and manage high-value accounts. Revenue Growth & Partnerships - Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, nurturing long-term, commercially rewarding relationships with key accounts and trade partners. Commercial Planning & Delivery - Create and manage budgets, sales forecasts, and performance metrics for all retail and B2B activity, collaborating cross-functionally to ensure smooth execution. What You’ll Bring Track Record of Scaling - Proven success taking a brand from start-up (£0) to £10m revenue, or significant growth experience in pet food retail/grocery. Strong commercial acumen and experience managing high-value negotiations and contracts. Channel & Sector Expertise - Understanding of retail channel dynamics, from independents to major grocery multiples, with a record of delivering impactful in-store execution. Experience developing B2B sales into new sectors. Attributes for Success - Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment. Skilled communicator and relationship-builder who can inspire confidence internally and externally. Working Pattern If you live within 1 hour of Nottingham HQ - Minimum 4 days per week in the office (plus client visits and travel as required). If you live more than 1 hour away Nottingham HQ - Minimum 2 days per week in the office (plus client visits and travel as required). What’s In It For You?
