Working Days and Afters. Responding to breakdowns and performance issues quickly and effectively Proactively monitoring equipment performance and identifying opportunities for improvement Supporting the development and execution of the asset care and preventative maintenance plan Collaborating closely with production and packaging teams to optimise line performance Using the site’s Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to schedule and document work Working within a strong culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement Acting as a positive, visible role model for high standards and professional behaviours Taking personal ownership of workload and projects, showing initiative and pride in your work What We’re Looking For Time-served engineering apprenticeship (or equivalent) City & Guilds ONC/BTEC in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a front-line maintenance role, ideally in an FMCG or manufacturing environment Experience of Siemens S7 desirable Strong understanding of electro-mechanical systems including motors, gearboxes, pneumatics, hydraulics, and conveyor systems Experience working with CMMS and planned maintenance schedules Comfortable working within H&S frameworks (LOLER, PUWER, COSHH, PTW, etc.) An organised, proactive individual who thrives in a busy, hands-on environment A confident communicator who can build strong relationships across teams What You’ll Bring A methodical and solutions-focused approach A commitment to continuous improvement and learning A flexible attitude – open to change, shift flexibility, and going the extra mile A team player with a customer-first mindset and a strong work ethic Ready to roll up your sleeves and make a difference?
