Job Overview
We are an established High Street law firm based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. We have been providing legal services for over 40 years and have a client base which is nationwide.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Conveyancer with 3 years PQE to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding and breadth of experience in freehold /leasehold sales and purchases, transfers of equity, shared ownership sales and new build purchases. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently, ensuring smooth transactions for our clients, while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
The successful candidate will be expected to work from our office in Stevenage a minimum of 2 days a week.
Duties
1. Manage the conveyancing process from initial instruction through to completion, ensuring all legal requirements are met.
2. Communicate effectively with clients, estate agents, and other stakeholders to provide updates and gather necessary information.
3. Prepare and review legal documents, including contracts and transfer deeds, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation.
